Mephibosheth was a royal son and a son to King Saul. In an unfortunate turn of events he was accidentally dropped by the maid got hurt and became crippled. As a result he was made to stay out of the palace away from royal quarters far from public eye he was just thrown in Lo-debar. A valley a place for the poor a place of the unimportant a place of sorrow and a place of lack. Later on all the sons of King Saul where killed to avenge for the sins of King Saul. The whole household was killed and hung in the forest and guess what Mephibosheth was the only survivor. Others died he survived others were killed he survived others were were destroyed he survived those who were in royal quarters and respectable known areas where all killed but Mephibosheth was unharmed. Romans 8:28 All things work together for good..... The accident he endured worked for his good The obscurity worked for his good There are blessings that God has denied you,it was Gods way of preserving you . The closed doors that you suffered in the past was Gods way of preserving you from future harm. You see what the enemy meant for harm God used for good. The visas that were denied it was Gods way of protecting you. When some things happen to you they dont make sense but l tell you God in His wisdom has orchestrated certain events as a way of protecting you.
