Mercedes Unveils Solar-Powered "VISION" Golf Cart Concept Mercedes-Benz has revealed a concept of what it bills as the “ultimate golf cart” as part of activities at this year’s British Open at the Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland. The golf cart is powered by an electric motor that gets its energy from a battery that is kept continuously charged by a solar module integrated into the roof. The vehicle is controlled by a joystick instead of a steering wheel, mounted on the center console, which makes it easy for both passengers drive the golf cart.
