Meriam Ibrahim and her American children are now free.They have been released from death row in Sudan, but they are not safe. Meriams Sudanese attorneys are now receiving death threats and her family has received similar threats in the past. Theyre now hiding in a safe house. Sudan has overturned the execution sentence for her Christian faith, but Meriam and her young American children will not be safe until they are home in America. Nearly 400,000 of you spoke out demanding their freedom. Now, we need to demand the Obama Administration grant Meriam and her children, 20-month-old Martin and newborn baby Maya, safe passage and immediate legal status in the United States.
