Meridian peanut bar review. Quick review of the meridian peanut bar, I know meridian from their range of peanut butters. Which are quite a dry butter but a higher quality blend. So I was happy to try this bar. Despite having a 55% peanut content and 8g protein I was disappointed. Because this is essentially peanuts and a binder. Around half is nuts meaning 45% of the bar is the binder so unlike a trail type bar where they binder is only a very small proportion, this makes the bar overall texture gluey. I dont find that off putting but I can see why it may for others. Overall the taste is so so. Texture is too much like a glue and so they need to add oats or seeds or both. Overall 5 out of 10. Also the bar is extremely small. It would be better to just east a hand full of nuts
