Merry Christmas Eve to all my family and friends! As another Christmas passes with out my grandparents, Im reminded of how important it is to keep tradition alive with my family. Im reminded of singing Christmas songs around pop pops recorder while he strums on his guitar and we giggle at silly mess ups in our version of silent night, Im reminded of how my mom mom hated the 12 days of Christmas so much that when we would sing it she would cry, I never found out why she hated it so much. Im reminded of how many trips up and down their basement stairs to set the table for 15 plus family members and how ever year our family grew and grew, its hard to believe we all went our separate ways and its even harder to believe that for 2 days out of the year we put our differences aside for 1 very important reason and she was my grandmother. I love and miss my grandparents so much, but thank you for teaching me the importance of being A Family! Merry Christmas in heaven mom mom and pop pop! Until we meet again!
