Merry Christmas Season The official Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving; and much of the world does not remember, or know, that Christmas is a celebration of Gods greatest gift to mankind: the gift of Jesus (Yeshua)s birth. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but, to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of Gods One and Only Son. John 3:16-18 (NIV). Christmas is not about stuff, which can never fill the void in all humans; but rather, to be filled with the Spirit of God. Although theologians do not know the exact day of Jesus birth, which was probably in October, the important thing is that we celebrate the birth of Christ. For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV). The birth of our Lord and Savior changed the destiny of all mankind. Son, though He (Jesus) was, He learned obedience from what He suffered and, once made perfect, He (Jesus) (Yeshua) became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 5:8-10 (NIV). Christmas celebrates salvation brought to fallen mankind through the birth of a virgin in Israel. How will this be, Mary asked the angel, since I am a virgin? The angel answered, The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:34-35 (NIV). Christmas celebrates our Messiahs birth. Easter celebrates our Saviors death and resurrection to present His pure blood before the throne of God. But. when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He (Jesus) (Yeshua) did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:11-14 (NIV). And I myself did not know Him, but the One (God) Who sent me to baptize with water told me, The Man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. I have seen and I testify that this is Gods Chosen One. John 1:33-34 (NIV). For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He (Jesus) (Yeshua) was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through Him, you believe in God, who raised Him (Jesus) from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:18-21 (NIV). Salvation is not a difficult process. God has made it so simple for all who would come to Christ to be saved. If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile: the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him; for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:9-13 (NIV). This Christmas season, do not give into using Xmas on anything! That X is Christ, who gave His all for us. Take the time to say write Merry Christmas, not Merry Xmas; and take the time to say Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays. This world and our country is trying to take God and His Son, Jesus (Yeshua) out of everything. Do not let satan use you in his devices. Happy birthday season to You, Jesus (Yeshua). Merry Christmas season to you all. May Gods richest blessings be with you and your families throughout this Christmas season. Amen.
