Merry Christmas! Where does the time go? It is hard to believe - TopicsExpress

Merry Christmas! Where does the time go? It is hard to believe that another year has passed. We get so wrapped up in the here and now that before we know it; the year has gone and went. So let’s get caught up with the Sayre news… Renovations are complete! Hallelujah! We have room for everyone to sit and the kids enjoy the extra space for play. The extra room is just in time as Adam and Andrea announced they are expecting again. Baby Bean #3 is due in early June. God continues to bless us! Our love expands with each and every addition. I can’t even imagine the noise level on family nights. Maybe next year Pappy and Grammy will ask Santa for some noise reduction earphones. The Sayre family has been introduced to a new sport this year; Disc Golf. Everyone [Lisa is the lone holdout] enjoys getting out there and playing. Adam and Jude have portable goals. Bo built his own for practice time at home. We even took the goal on vacation and played on the beach. Bo, Les and Adam seem to be much more dedicated than the rest of us. They will play no matter how cold it is or even in the rain. We played in Glow in the Dark Tournament this fall. It was quite challenging to throw at something that was only slightly visible while the obstacles in your path were not visible. Challenging but fun at the same time! The Sayres once again blessed Tybee Island, Georgia with their presence for their summer vacation. Days were spent on the beach or relaxing by the pool. Of course, the boys did take one day to visit the local disc golf course only to discover that spiders and alligators are two of the hazards. Yikes! The look on the faces of the grandchildren as they discover new things never gets old. Each and every shell is a treasure and we were actually in the ocean as dolphins swam by! Jude is ten years old and in 5th grade. He is still active in soccer and an excellent student. It is a little sad to see him grow up. It seems like only last year that he was running around like Quinn and Elijah. Speaking of those two, they never stop. It is quite a sight to see them running around playing with Nehemiah bringing up the rear because of course; he can do everything they can do. Quinn is very much a little diva. She enjoys painting her fingernails, her momma’s fingernails and even her daddy’s fingernails. I am not sure how Jude manages to escape. Elijah and Nehemiah are two very active little boys who enjoy running their parents ragged. Trucks, trains, cars and superheroes fill their days. Elijah will keep you busy on the ground while if you lose sight of Nehemiah; watch out, he might be on top of or under something. We only have a couple of changes on the employment front. Adam is now the Senior Minister at Mount Eden Christian Church. Please continue to pray for him and his family as he continues to follow where God leads him. Heidi found a job in her field! She started working in February at Microbac Labs in Lexington. They do environmental testing of water samples. She is happy to be working in her field and gaining experience for future employment. Bo and I look at our family in amazement at times. God has blessed us immensely and continues to bless us daily. Our lives are full but rest assured that each one of you are never far from our thoughts. We love each one of you and keep you in our prayers throughout the year. As always we pray that this letter finds you in good health and wishes you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Love to all and God bless you, Bo and Darla
