Merry Christmas for all my facebook friends! I just got back from an 1100km long drive taking four days in north Thailand starting in Cheng Mai and covering Mae Hong Son, Ban Rak Thai Chinese village, Pai and many stops along the way. This was for sure one of the most beautiful roads I have ever been driving on. Apparently somebody counted, and it is said that there is about 4000 turns on this loop. The sad part of this trip is that I was driving a Honda CRV!! There was not one of those turns I did not dream I was in my Ferrari 308 GTS that is sitting fully serviced and ready to go at home in my garage. With the temperature around 20 degrees it would be a great feeling to have the targa top off and hear that sweet song from the rear pushing me up the steep hills. Still enough brakes to feel safe when coming down.
