Merry Christmas to all of my faithful Raies! Because of the love that you all have shown me, my dreams are becoming more of a reality. Who would have thought that just 3 years ago when I released my first solo album Through it All would bring me to this day? I have released 4 professional music videos, 3 studio albums, produced 2 Christmas shows with one making it to a local broadcasting station, sung on major platforms with some great artists; all while starting at a very late age! I couldnt have dreamed it better. I remember when I was just trying to do a song for my not for profit Uplift Your Sister and someone told me that they dont see me as an artist. I remember feeling sad and discouraged. Im so thankful that I am a fighter and I didnt let one persons inability to see me as God has seen me to keep me from being #SchawaynaRaie. I still have to tell myself that is who I am when people notice me in the streets. Its so humbling to know that I was so unworthy but because I was willing to be used; He used me! So on this day that we celebrate the birth of the person that made all of this in my life possible, Merry CHRISTmas to all of my Raies and I pray that you all enjoy your family and friends more than you celebrate your tangible gifts.
