Merry Summery evening to you HART friends, followers, group members and anyone else who thinks what we all do on a Friday and Tuesday is in the slightest useful. Welcome to HART Friday week 81. And what a lovely day it was today. Mist, and a little cool-breeze to start the day (early, as we were over setting up at 8:50am) and then lots of sunshine and humidity. As you will see from the pics posted, we all had a load of stuff on the go today... we welcomed Dad back from his holiday (Bulgaria) and no sooner had he slapped his monika on the lilies he was on to another masterpiece. We did a bit of fundraising today. Well, when I say We I really mean Rafeah got people to part with some cash and managed to raise £60 for HART for having our friend Christines Son (Matthew) doused in seriously icy water. (Video posted). Sales of masterpieces and a briefcase took the amount raised to just over £100. That kind of money is always more than welcome. We also had a bit of an influx of donated food today which was fantastic, and very tasty. Top the day off with a visit from the lovely Fiona with a heap of very interesting news and the only thing that could have made the day any better would have been a visit from Father Christmas! Ho Ho Ho! So, on that festive note, I think Ill just say thanks to everyone who came and contributed time, effort, money, help, food and love today... always a pleasure to have you all with us.
