Mesmerizing, stunning footage of humpback whales in Alaska. Watch for the bubble net feeding, which begins at about 47 seconds. The behavior is unique to humpback whales...one or several whales blow a ring of bubbles from their blowholes that encircle a school of krill or fish. The whales then swim through the net with their mouths agape, taking in large amounts of food. ~from The Marine Mammal Center, bit.ly/1x4zcik Video courtesy of AkXpro via Center for Coastal Studies
