Message From GHOST: Dismissed & Downplayed The first draft of another poem called Dismissed & Downplayed. I havent written a poem of this type in quite a long time...but I had to get this off my chest. So...around the country there have been incidents of Police Brutality and unarmed boys/men being killed by Police happening. This, of course, isnt new, but these recent outbreaks have been among other things, exhausting and quite sad...especially when there is still no true justice... Another disheartening thing that seems to ALWAYS happen when We speak out in righteous anger, is this bringing up of Black on Black crime. For example, You all (or We) kill each other everyday, so why do You (or We) get mad when this happens. That shit is nonsense and gets used to downplay and dismiss the hurt of folks. I will revise this poem as I didnt intend for it to be this long...but I Hope You feel it nonetheless. #EnochTheJediSith. #NeoHippie. Bless. Selah
