Message from Eddie Gardner: Enoughness counters the mad drive for more, more, more. We need to cultivate the values of sharing the abundance and diversity the natural world has to offer, and cooperating and collaborating with one another and the environment, living in harmony and balance with nature. The voracious and destructive extractionism upon which the current global economy is based needs to be totally transformed to one of a green economy that does not dominate the natural world, but uses renewable resources to create meaningful, long term employment in opposed to the global warming boom and bust economy we now have. The good news is that more and more people are starting to realize if we dont divest from fossil fuels and invest in renewable, clean energy technology, we ourselves will become extinct.
