Message from LFL Chairman and Founder, Mitchell Mortaza - Sometimes in a loss great accomplishments, dedication and talent are lost in the noise of the loss. Let me make it very clear what Seattle Mists head coach Chris Michaelson and veteran Jessica Hopkins have meant to the sport. Chris has been the most dedicated and passionate football person I have ever been around. Jessica has given her heart and soul to the game. Without people like them, there would be no reason to make the sacrifices and hardships that come with the daunting task of building a global female sport. Congratulations to the Seattle Mist on a great season, football is peaks and valleys, your peak is coming.
