Message from Maria M. Gregory-Hernandez... It has been about two months since the launch of Builders for Jesus childrens fundraising campaign. I trust the time gone by has been one of amazement of how willing the children are to share their treasures to build the house for Jesus. If it is challenging for them, now is the right time to redirect their hearts. Helping them to be committed and faithful in this effort may not be difficult for some parents and yet be challenging for others. What I would like to ask is that you share your methods and experiences on how to keep them interested, generous, and joyful as the campaign continues. It will be shared with the congregation and undoubtedly help and encourage others as well. The financial goal is $500 and the spiritual goal is to reinforce the necessity of their participation in the important assignment of building a bigger church for new people to join us. We have only until Sabbath, March 29, 2014, at which time we will celebrate before the congregation the childrens love for the Lord and their church in raising these funds. As they deposit their offerings please have them write their full names and note that its for the Builders for Jesus fund, unless they are using the specially designed graphic envelope in which case only their full name is needed. This will really help Steve Enzweiler, our treasurer, know where to credit the offering and whom should get the receipt.
