Message from Robb just now: Late night update: met with dr gastman 2 hours ago. At that time he told us that the closing phase of surgery was under way-surgery will be finished between now and the next hour. He was VERY pleased with todays procedure. To over simplify 13 hours of work...today they cleaned out the front lobe,cleaning out infection and bone fragments...they took tissue from her thigh closing a good portion of the wound area, then turning it inward creating a pallet. In addition they created some makeshift nostrils for breathing tubes to be inserted. A long day. When she goes to icu pray that her pain would be minimal and managed and that she would get some semblance of rest and that all post-op results would be constructive. Thanks to all of you for your continuance of prayers giving thanks for Gods provision. We are so grateful to all the surgeons/doctors/nurses here at the Cleveland clinic -pray Gods continued blessing upon them. Thanks be to God.
