Message from Taunton Angling Association - Good evening everyone. Could ALL anglers please be extra vigilant if you are fishing or passing the Canal between Creech-Charlton areas. We have had a worrying report from a local lady that a group of men are catching and killing a lot of fish, she did approach them and they were abusive and aggressive! The lady said they were not English but possibly Polish. If you do spot them PLEASE DO NOT CHALLENGE THEM especially if you are on your own!! Could you please call either me or any of the other numbers in your licence book. Their favourite time seems to be Sunday mornings. Please do not start a witch hunt on here as we are all aware how everyone feels about this subject! Thank you in advance for your help. (KG)
