Message from West Midlands Police; Please be aware in the Netherton area last night a white male aged 40-45 heavy build and of average height tricked his way into an elderly residents home by falsely claiming building work needed carrying out on her house, once inside he then took money from her house while she was distracted. Please do not let any one into your house and if work is needed in your house please deal only with company’s which are known and established. Please pass this message on to family, friends, fellow Neighbourhood watch member and any elderly residents in your road.
