Message from the Board Chair As an Alberta Chartered Accountant, not only am I excited to have an opportunity to be involved with the CA Education Foundation of Alberta (CAEF), but I am extremely proud of what it has accomplished over the years. What started 30 years ago as a vision for a foundation to support accounting education and the advancement of the profession in the province has evolved into a trusted source for CAs and other donors to impact and influence the professional accounting landscape in Alberta. Through the contributions of every Alberta CA, and other generous supporters, since its inception the CAEF has distributed more than $12 million in support towards business and accounting education across the province. This past year, the Foundation’s history of excellence continued to flourish as it marked many significant achievements, including the successful launch of The Money Project and a variety of 30th anniversary initiatives. Looking to the future, this momentum shows no signs of slowing down and I am confident that the CAEF will grow its legacy for many years to come. I believe that the unification of the accounting professions provides a great opportunity for the CAEF to bring its successful, multifaceted educational support template to a larger accounting audience. Going forward the Board believes that it can impact the expanded accounting body and the Alberta business community in a profound way. To all of our donors, thank you for your dedication to the CAEF and for helping us to achieve more than 30 years of giving back to the profession.
