Message from the President Dear friends, listeners and supporters, Welcome to our Facebook page! Radio Italia Uno came into existence after a long period of reflection of a group of people who are passionate about the Italian-Australian community and look to the future with an eye on the past. The history of the Italian community of Adelaide is one of the most interesting chapters of Italian emigration. It is for this reason that it must always be represented in all its complexity and facets. The voice of Radio Italia Uno will enter your homes with great respect towards you, the listeners, and high regard for your ideas and needs. It is an information project and a service to the community complemented by great music intended to keep you company every day. I take this opportunity to thank my colleagues on the Committee, all Foundation and Life Supporters, Friends of Radio Italia Uno and all those who have chosen to advertise on our radio. Thank you to everyone supporting us financially and morally, without your support this project would never have been possible. Radio Italia Uno does not wish to compete with other radio stations. It endeavours to be another tool for the cultural enrichment of the Italian-Australian community and to be of support to the many battles the community will take on to secure its own future. I invite the whole community to take part in this project and help us improve and share this undertaking that we will continue to propel gradually into the future. Happy listening!
