Message of d day. A Dog crossing a bridge over a stream with a piece of flesh in his mouth, saw his own shadow in the water and took it for that of another dog, with a piece of meat double his own in size. He immediately let go of his own, and fiercely attacked the other dog to get his larger piece from him. He thus lost both: that which he grasped at in the water, because it was a shadow; and his own, because the stream swept it away. Too many Christians don’t realize the priceless gift they have in their salvation. Because of this, they will attempt to seek the treasures of the earth while at the same time seeking for the treasures Heaven. Yet, little do they realize how they may lose both: their material possessions and their eternal salvation! Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. The Holy Ghost is saying: Look straight to the Lord alone and be focused on your Heavenly Home! Refuse to consider another source of Power! You cannot look to God and look to man or any other power source at the same time! You cannot hold on to God and to mammon at the same time! you cannot love God and love the world at the same time! you cannot praise God and accept the praise of men at the same time! Refuse to envy others and their Blessings! The dog lost the bone because it envied another imaginary dog! To find fulfilment in life, you must learn how to jealously guard what God has given to you! Comparing yourself to others, envying others, pitying yourself, reusing to value the little you hve are the medicines needed to demote your destiny and change your address to the Loser’s avenue! Value what you have & you will get more than you have.
