Messiah was hung as per the laws of the YshraElites. Was he hung - TopicsExpress

Messiah was hung as per the laws of the YshraElites. Was he hung on a cross? NIV which dates back from 1973 writes as follows in Deuteronomy 21:22-23: 22 If someone guilty of a capital offense is put to death and their body is exposed on a POLE, 23 you must not leave the body hanging on the POLE overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under Elohims curse. You must not desecrate the land YAHUAH your El is giving you as an inheritance. KJV says Deuteronomy 21:23 22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a TREE: 23 His body shall not remain all night upon the TREE, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of Elohim;) that thy land be not defiled, which YAHUAH thy El giveth thee for an inheritance. All the other versions refer to a tree. Galatians 3:13 of the same NIV which dates back from 1973 reads as follows: 13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. KJV and other versions Galatians 3:13 13 Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Why then was the substitution made? The cross is not a tree nor is it a pole. The pictures of the so-called Messiah used to show HIM hung with both HIS arms over his head. It is clear then that at that time it was not a cross because the arms were not outstretched. Why do the arms now appear to be outstretched and thereby appearing to be a cross. When did the law change from being hung on a pole/tree to being hung on a cross?
