Metamorphosis ... Revealing the real you!!! TUESDAY, 13TH AUGUST 2013 YOUR LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Prov 15:4 Have you ever found someone who spoke so much negativity concerning his life and ended up a success? Never! It’s like shooting yourself in the foot. I remember the case of a woman who attended a healing service sometimes ago. While waiting for the Man of God to attend to them, the husband of the woman started shouting “this woman is dying, this woman is dying” At this time, several people were already being healed. When the Man of God got to this couple he had to make the man start confessing life instead of death. Only thereafter did he pray for her. The truth is that if the man had not changed his confessions, in spite of the mighty presence of God in that meeting, the woman might still have died. You must understand that Christianity is the great confession! You cannot speak failure, frustration, depression and all such words and expect to live an exciting life full of victory, success and achievement. The word of God is not magic, He can only reproduce for you after that which you have confessed. A wholesome tongue as described to us here is that tongue that speaks correctly in accordance with the word of God under any given situation. This refers to the man who has learnt to speak hope in the face of hopelessness, faith in the place of fear and strength instead of weakness. Nothing happens to such a man to make him confess negativity. He is control of his tongue. God equates such a man with a tree of life. You know why? Because trees are known for their fruit-bearing ability. In other words the life of this fellow will be known for producing fruits that are consistent with increase, progress, growth and advancement. Never will you find him stagnant. In fact such a person becomes so unpredictable because he will always outdo his past. On the other hand, not speaking correctly introduces perverseness into a man’s life. Perverseness here means a distortion or a deviation from the set down order. That’s how come you find someone taking two steps forward and seven steps backward. There will be an imbalance in such a life because wrong talk has equals confused living!
