Meteorologist Catherine Bodak here: Today, we will continue to experience warm and muggy conditions as a warm front lifts north. Moist and unstable air will stream into Mid Michigan. As a result, we could see a few storms on the stronger side later this morning. However, after 2PM, we will have the greatest potential to see some severe storms develop. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, heavy rain, and even an isolated tornado are some of the threats. We will have another round of storms move into the area tomorrow afternoon ahead of a cold front.
