Meteorologist Matt Rudkin WSBT: HOLIDAY TRAVEL WEATHER: Good news locally is that sunshine & a few clouds will be the theme for Wednesday. Well see some lake effect snow showers on Thursday... minor accumulations of 1-3 of snow possible in the lake effect areas. Outside of that, quiet weather. A noreaster is developing and will affect much of the northeast coast. In fact, some locations could see upwards of 10+ of snow! That will affect major airports in New England, which of course have a ripple effect across the rest of the country. If you are flying out of South Bend, Grand Rapids, Chicago or Indianapolis tomorrow, I would check with your airline to see if your flight is delayed/cancelled. Safe travels! :)
