Michael Battel, you are a very humble man. I have had the privilege of knowing you for quite a few years coaching Elaina in soccer and you coaching Laura in soccer. The way that you always present yourself on the field, whether at games or practices, is a testament to your Christianity. You are a fine example to both the young people and older people as well with your character and demeanor. The way you coached shows that you do not have to be the loudest or the meanest to get your kids to succeed. I know that countless numbers of young ladies now will always remember the time you had with them. Sports often get ugly at times, but your conduct both on and off the field is a testament that Christ lives within you. Thank you Michael :)
