Michael, Been 3 months today and the bad days still outweigh the good ones by far. The past month has been rough on all of us, but I have struggled knowing its the time of year that has grown to be so special for us up in the woods. You would have been so excited to see all the deer this season moving on the property. Cam got a nice 8 in the same area you shot your one and only buck. Did a lot of sitting but just didnt have it in me to hunt. I gotta guess this was a little bitter/sweet for Cam without you there. Had a chance to spend an afternoon with your Shark family last week at the golf outting, what a special group. Ran into most of your teammates and words were tough but there eyes did most of the talking and of course a big hug! Mom, Talia and Mila came by which was a blessing in itself. I realize were not the only ones hurting and we are very fortunate to have Brownie and your teamates in our lives to help keep your memory close to our hearts especially this time of year. Gun season opens in TN tomorrow, duck season at home and im gonna go for a bike ride and stop by and see Father Ed, not sure when and if I will recover from losing you. Mom stays in touch with a lot of your close friends while still pushing through school and work, you would be so proud of her! Talia has her moments but thank god that little sweet niece of yours Mila Grace keeps us smiling even during the toughest of times. Cameron is holding strong but mom and I worry about him because you cant hide it in your eyes. Sure wish I could leap frog the next 35 days but know that would be selfish. Theres no manual on how to get through the first holiday without you I can only promise to do my best. Hoping you will give us some extra help from upstairs Mikey. Please watch over us and keep us safe and know how much you are and will always be missed.
