Yesterday at 1:46pm · Like Pearl Clarkin: thanks you guys singing originals is the easiest thing about performing... this song came from one of my first memories ever. i think i talked about it in another youtube video but we lived in milton for a little while when i was about 3 maybe after a storm while we were fixing a beach house and there was a neighbor i can still remember. she was so beautiful with really thick curly long black hair and bright green eyes and she had 2 little boys. her husband was a trucker and on the road all the time she was expected to stay home. i can barely remember sitting on the curb of the yard and she always had the phone in case he called. shed say... sush im not supposed to be outside. but when he came home he would yell at her she always looked so sad. but if you know Milton/Pace accents I swear must have channeled her saying if i dont pick up theres gonna be hell to pay because when i am singing here it sounds just like that old memory of mine. i thought of her so many times in my life and then wrote this a few months ago for her 2 minutes ago · Like
