Michael Jagessar presented the Assemblys address to the Throne, highlighting the recent work and concerns of the United Reformed Church, especially to promote peace and reconciliation during the anniversary of the First World War, to use foodbanks to relieve distress while pressing the government to investigate and address the increase in poverty, and to support those effected by events around the Scottish referendum on independence.
