Micheal emailed--I am an LBKA since May 2013. I have had lots of trouble wearing my prosthetic for more than an hour a day due to pain. I received it in October. I have applied for SSI due to not being able to work full time and I was denied. My wife and I are going in to debt due to this. Can anyone please inform us of any organization that could help? Thanks! Oh btw, I lost my leg in a motorcycle accident. The young man who ran into me had the lowest amount of insurance possible and the lawyer and hospital got the majority of the settlement.
