Multnomah Falls is the second tallest year-round waterfall in the United States. Find Oregon travel nurse assignments at americantraveler/oregon-nursing-jobs/ Michele R., said: My parents and I drove from Portland to Walla Walla, and unexpectedly stopped off at Multnomah Falls and Stonehenge Memorial. Even though I have been there before, the view is always worth the time. There are several routes you can take to see the waterfalls. We only went to the first level because the temperature dropped significantly and I was freezing. The first level is about 1/4 of a mile up. You can take the switchbacks all the way to the top, which is about 1 mile or there is a trail that is almost 7 miles. Stonehenge is about 1 hour away from Multnomah Falls and is in Washington. This is a memorial that was dedicated to those who died in World War 1.
