Michigan has been nominated for a well-earned (dis)honor from the ITIF (Information Technology and Innovation Foundation) -- a Luddite Award. The honor comes thanks to passing a law in 2014 to block Teslas direct sales. Michigan is not the sole candidate, however. The Luddite nomination is shared with Arizona, New Jersey and Texas. For as much as Gov. Snyder touts hes pro-business and pro free markets, he embraces an antiquated ideology first conceived in 1898 (yes, thats EIGHTEEN-ninety-eight, over 100 years ago). Thankfully the ITIF is trying to remind Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey and Texas that we live in the 21st Century now.
