Read what the volunteers have to say about Skip, and help him if you can, "Skip is an adorable and compact little boy, nine years of age and going strong. He was a bit temperamental when he came in and showed some guarding of his food on his behavioral evaluation but he certainly waits hopefully for his daily walk when he sees me. Skip is leashed without fuss and off we go for a nice stroll. Skip does not mind crossing other dogs path. He trots nicely by my side, occasionally pulling a little. He poses for pictures and sits on command and for treats. He is very motivated by food (that he does not snatch from my hand) and it is a great tool for training in his case. Skip comes when called, jumps (with help) on the bench and enjoys a petting session. He is quite obedient and a very friendly chap. Skip, of course because of his little flaw, will have to go to a savvy home in order to become with some teaching, the perfect gentleman."
