«Micro & Macro Cosm» art project by Iryna Karpova and Roman Zhuk Graphics, jewellery, video and audio installations. “Macro & Micro Cosm” art project demonstrates a unique symbiosis of natural organic beauty and human talent, combining several types of art connected by a common idea. «Micro & Macro» project is an original art interpreting of Macro philosophy which defines the system of conjunction of all things from the smallest Micro to the largest Macro. This is a kind of reflection about the world as a unified whole, the universe, which can be seen in a drop of dew, the cosmos in all of us, about the invisible connections that determine the universal harmony of existence. Authors of the project, jeweler Irina Karpova and the artist Roman Zhuk, offer the viewer to remember that each of us is a part of the universe. Children feel and realize it. But over time, in pursuit of imaginary values, we lose the breadth and clarity of perception and even more often do not notice that the world affects us as much as we affect it. Only by understanding this indissoluble connection of all things, we may not sink in vanity, and try to understand the true meaning of life. The exhibition consists of four drawings by the Ukrainian-Dutch artist Roman Zhuk and jewels by Irina Karpova. Huge drawings created in the style of Japanese graphics on the three-meter paper rolls, are like a delicate frame work of jeweler creations. This is a world in micro and macro scale. This is exactly the world that we observe and explore as children, and to which exquisite perfection almost do not pay attention having grown up. The main element of the jewellery exposition is amber, an essence that contains the entire idea of macro philosophy. This stone has retained centuries-old life and drops of the suns heat, which fills this life. Wood, gold, diamonds and handwork of jewelry house «Karpov & Karpova jewellery» craftsmen, make rock tune with a new force, reviving it to life. And a streamlined shape and an avant-garde style of jewels create unique and almost meditative works of art. The idea of dipping into the universe is emphasized by art objects in the form of huge candles added with lenses. They fill the space with warm light of collector’s pieces of amber with inclusions – living organisms stoned in the sun. The world is so beautiful in its original perfection. Проект «Micro & Macro» - это оригинальная художественная интерпретация Макро-философии, которая определяет систему взаимосвязи всего сущего, от наименьшего Micro до наибольшего Macro. Это некое философское размышление о мире, как едином целом, о вселенной, которую можно увидеть в капле росы, о космосе в каждом из нас, о том, что все живое совершенно, о невидимых связях, которые и определяют всеобщую гармонию бытия. Авторы проекта, художник Роман Жук и ювелир Ирина Карпова, предлагают зрителю вспомнить, что каждый из нас является частью вселенной. Это ощущает и осознает ребенок. Но со временем, в погоне за мнимыми ценностями мы теряем широту и чистоту восприятия и все чаще не замечаем того, что мир влияет на нас так же, как и мы влияем на него. Лишь осознав эту неразрывную связь всего сущего, возможно не погрязнуть в суете, а постараться постичь истинный смысл жизни. Экспозиция состоит из четырех рисунков украинско-голландского художника Романа Жука и ювелирных произведений Ирины Карповой. Огромные рисунки, созданные в стиле японской графики на трехметровых бумажных свитках, словно обрамляют утонченные работы ювелира. Это микро-мир в макро размерах. Это именно тот мир, который мы замечаем и изучаем в детстве, а повзрослев, уже почти не обращаем внимание на его изысканное совершенство. Главным элементом ювелирной экспозиции является янтарь – субстанция, которая аккумулировала в себе всю суть макро-философии. Камень, сохранивший в себе многовековую жизнь и капли того солнечного тепла, которое эту жизнь наполняет. Дерево, золото, бриллианты и ручная работа мастеров Ювелирного дома «Karpov & Karpova jewellery» заставляют камень заиграть с новой силой, возрождают его к жизни. А обтекаемая форма и авангардное решение украшений создают неповторимые почти медитативные художественные произведения. Идею погружения во вселенную подчеркивают и арт-объекты с линзами в виде огромных свечей. Они наполняют пространство теплым светом коллекционного янтаря с инклюзами – застывшими в солнце живыми организмами. Мир так прекрасен в своем первозданном совершенстве.
