Microsoft Office is now on the iPad. My review: MsWord is meh - there are better writing tools available. Excel seems good but I find it impractical and slow given I use large spreadsheets and they dont work well on the iPad. Powerpoint is the winner here - now I can go to conferences and present using the iPad without worrying about file formats. I tried a few of my slide decks and they all work well. Does PPTX alone make it worth the subscription?? Overall my main complaints are that (a) each application is standalone and they dont interoperate well, and (b) Office only works with OneDrive so if all your files are on Dropbox/iCloud/Somethingelse it is a hassle transferring files and dealing with multiple versions.
