Mid-day update as I couldnt wait to share the good news. Ford had OT today and his hand looked so much better for a few hours after she left. I am confident they will get him where he needs to be before we go home. He also had a big day! He got his chest tube out 2 days ahead of schedule!! His X-ray at noon looked great. We praise God for this victory. My precious Whit is not doing well today. His lungs are looking sick and hes on 100% oxygen. Please say a special prayer for him. Hes calmer today on the sedation but I miss him opening his eyes to my voice. He will barely crack an eye lid when I speak to him and then just keeps them closed. Bless his sweet heart. Thank you all for the prayers and messages. I really cannot articulate in words what it does for my emotional and spiritual health.
