Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin is seeking a Madricha for the 5775 As a madricha at B’erot not only will you be able to spend time in the Judean Hills studying in our program while gaining leadership experience in the holistic Torah environment of our unique midrasha. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Torah in addition to creative classes when free time allows. Classes include intense textual study, interwoven with creative spiritual expression, in an environment that nurtures your mind, body & soul. You will be able to enjoy hikes to places described in Tanach, connecting to the Land of Eretz Yisrael, and learn about the healing herbs found right here in the surrounding area. In exchange for your assistance/hard work, dedication and skills, your living accommodation, lunch five days a week while classes are in session , also study when time allows is free of charge. Student madrichot do have a small expense to cover their own personal electrical use in their room. Requirements and tasks for Student Madrichot: It is essential that successful candidate possess most of the following skills: 1) Outgoing personality with the ability to encourage other students to participate in programs and to act as liaison between staff and students. 2) Excellent organizational skills to be able to arrange and oversee that “Mom of the day” (basic kitchen cleaning duty) is carried out on a daily basis. 3) Significant involvement in Jewish community long enough to be able to serve as a role model & impart the traditional Jewish lifestyle to questioning students. 4) Good time management skills 5) Ability to lead Hallel during Rosh Chodesh and teaching Jewish songs etc. 6) Madricha is required to be on the premises two Shabbats a month and assist with arranging Shabbat hospitality and “In Shabbats” for the student body.
