@Mike Huckabee, Mike, Im doubtful that America has never been more polarized, witness the Civil War, even the War of Independence. But this poll does illuminate the fact that we are a people divided by very different world views in our time. The liberals stance on immigration, in both parties, shows a lack of understanding and concern for core moral principles. In this case, its of preserving the rule of law based on the moral principles of ownership of private property and private right to the produce of ones own labor, and national rights to territory, all of which are violated by people who choose to remain here illegally and daily. The liberals think they are more compassionate than the rest of us, but their compassion is erroneous and misplaced because it is truly hypocritical favoring those in the wrong over those with rightful claims. Liberals in both Parties, who have lost their religious understanding and convictions, no longer consider such understanding and convictions to matter in the political arena. So they rationalize all manner of violations of personal integrity and public trust. The liberal perspective that lacks moral basis results in human rationalizations that lead to distrust of the aggregate wisdom of the people, unfortunately because the changing wisdom of the people is less and less informed by Biblical principles that have stood the test of time. Whether a house divided against itself can stand or not becomes irrelevant once a people who once honored God turn their back on Him so vehemently. No house against God will ever stand!
