Mike charles MINISTER OF PETROLEUM AND N10 BILLION WASTAGE- Fellow Nigerians, see how they use your money: -Info from reliable source alleged that Hon. Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke has been spending 500,000 Euros (about N130 Million Naira) monthly to maintain Aircraft she personally use. This means that in 2 years, the Minister spent about N3.120 billion in maintaining the Private Jet which she and her immediate family use to fly around. Add this to allowances she paid to the crew for the trips, hanger parking and rent based on the lease agreement, the total expenditure is estimated at about N10 billion wasted!!! Are these Ministers living in this world, or strange aliens? In a country that the World Bank said that about 70% are officially living below 2 Dollars per day, how can someone with her right senses spend about N10 Billion of our money on her private plane? Are these people really sane? And they keep telling us that Nigeria have no money to give us good roads, constant electricity, equip our schools, hospitals, provide clean water, etc? Going by what we are now hearing, it seems that what Mrs. Oduah wasted, in which she was sacked, may be a tip of ice-bag, when compared to the financial mess now boiling under Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke. WHO WILL SAVE THIS COUNTRY? We hope that our President is paying due attention to this. Recent events shows that Jonathan slightly upped tempo on fight against corruption. No matter how small is his effort in this direction, we congratulate him on that. Now, his attention should focus on this N10 Billion wastage and make sure that it will not be swept under the carpet!
