Mike will be around, but he may not be able to post while he tinkers with swears at his hard drive. I thought Id take a surrey ride around the Island to see what catches my eye. We might as well find a place to stay for the night. With the placement of the water background, Ill ask if this may be the same Hotel Richmond that was/is on Central Avenue? I recall it as a barely half-star place (the half-star given for its proximity to the Bay Cafe). I was there a few times: once for a barely breathing overdose (we saved him) and, again, for an unresponsive late middle-aged man in his skivvies, accompanied by a confused young lady who just wanted to leave. He was left in the room for the medical examiner. Both episodes and a few others were in character with the ambiance of the place in the 70s and 80s.
