Mikes been lax on posting picks, but theyre back on track! Mike: Grayson #1 After the events of Forever Evil, Dick Grayson has a new gig as a Super Spy working for Spyral, an agency that has an agenda thats much more than protecting the public at large from super-human menaces. Tim Seeley and Tom King do a great job introducing us to a ton of new ideas in an entertaining first issue. Mikal Janins art is spot on for a book of this type. His style lends itself to both dynamic action scenes and intense character moments. Katie: Death Vigil #1 Speaking of art, Stjepan Sejics Death Vigil is a stunningly good looking book. A young woman, Clara Jenkins, has had a horrible tragedy befall her. In an effort to balance the scales, shes offered the chance to become one of the Death Vigil. An ancient league of immortal protectors burdened with the duty of preventing the Primordial Enemy from escaping the underplane of existence and devouring all life. Will she join Bernadette The Reaper, Sam Lewis and Hugin the Raven as one of the eternal protectors of Death Vigil? Daniel: Spider-Man 100th Anniversary. Daniel has described it as being the most metal book hes read in months! Bonus: Star Trek Ongoing #35 This month starts the 6 month long Q Gambit story line and you have to see Tony Shasteens art to believe it. This is one fantastic looking book. (now if only IDW can talk him into doing a X-Files story arc too) #Startrek #grayson #deathvigil #spiderman #dc #marvel #image #idw
