Milbourne Arms FootballClub 7 - 2 Carlisle Nation The Milly enjoyed a 7-2 victory but it wasnt all one way traffic as the game stood at 0-0 at half time. Both teams put in good shifts in difficult conditions and both had there moments in a hard fought first 45 mins. The second half started with the wind at our backs with the manager confident that this would lead to more possession and in the process the goals would follow, and so it proved. Ben Shennan opened the scoring with a header then Awad Sada made it two with the trademark goal that he has the copyright on. After good work on the right a Simon Elston tap in made it three. Si was then put through and as the goalie came out he dinked it over him for the fourth. Cue much over the top celebrations and waving to the non existent crowd ;-) Carlisle Nation never gave in though and pulled one back when there striker burst through and slotted one home. The Milly however were now in control and first Chris Campbell and then Azzer made it 6-1. Once again a determined Nation got another for 6-2 before Cambale smashed one in to make the final score 7-2. Well played both teams in really wind conditions.
