Milk Harvester, South Taranaki A specialist role as become available for a Milk Harvester on our clients 700 cow Dairy Farm in Oeo. The successful applicant will take full responsibility of all aspects of the milking process including shed hygiene and maintenance. Applicants for this role will have a minimum of one seasons milking experience, be extremely responsible, reliable and have the ability to use initiative at all times. As the Milk Harvester is responsible for the entire milking process candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of stockmanship. The role consists of an eight hour working day requiring the Milk Harvester to manage morning and afternoon milkings with four hours allowed for each, there is no day work required of the Milk Harvester. Further to the milking process the Milk Harvester will also hold responsibility for accurate recording and presentation of production and somatic cell count results back to the team.
