Millennium Challenge Account- Philippines (MCA-P) congratulates MCA-P Managing Director and CEO Ma. Victoria E. Añonuevo for being the recipient of the 2014 University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) Distinguished Alumni Award in Poverty Alleviation and Human Development. Ms. Anonuevo was cited for her contributions towards uplifting the lives of Filipinos through economic growth. As MCA-P’s “captain”, Ms. Añonuevo has been steering MCA-P since 2011 in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of the poverty-reduction projects funded by the United States Governments Millennium Challenge Corporation. Her leadership and her compassion to spark change in the MCC-funded project areas served as an inspiration not just to her colleagues in MCA-P but to the grant beneficiaries as well. Ms. Anonuevo graduated cum laude from UP with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She holds a masteral degree in Business Administration from UP where she was the top female graduate in 1975. She was awarded as one of the Ten Distinguised Alumni of the UP College of Business Administration in 2002. From your family in MCA-P, congratulations Ms. A! :)
