Miller Branch Library would love for you to stop by but you can sign up for a card at all locations. September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. Visit a library today; it is a hub of community activity! In tough economic times, a library card gives you free access to books and computers, a place to create your resume and do a job search, check out or download music, movies, magazines and much more. If you don’t have a library card, this is the perfect time to apply. If you do have one, come and see what your library card can do! The whole family can enjoy it. Free bookmarks and treats at all locations of the Fort Smith Public Library during September. All children who sign up for their first library card will receive a free paperback book provided by the Friends of the Library. Library cards are available free of charge to Fort Smith city residents age five and older. A parent or legal guardian must apply in person for children ages 5-15. Identification with current street address, such as a driver’s license, bank check, or utility bill is required.
