Millions of Americans are spending today with friends and family - TopicsExpress

Millions of Americans are spending today with friends and family in celebration of Labor Day. Labor Day was made a national holiday back in 1887 as a national tribute to the contributions that workers had made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our great country. This was a time when Americans wanted to work, were willing to work, and would even strike for a full 8 hour day. The problem with this is that today more than half of our country puts the majority of their time in figuring out ways not to work. They would rather be hooked up to the government feeding tube and receive welfare, obama care, obama phones, government housing, and so on. Therefore, half of our country (also known as democrats, the far left, or tree humpers) are celebrating a day that is recognized for the hard working, blue collar middle class (also referred to as republicans, conservatives, the "far right", or gun slinging gay hating fox news watching racists). That being said, if you are one celebrating Labor Day and you put forth most of your effort is trying to get out of the "labor" part, at least take a moment out of this day to thank a laborer.
