Milton Berle is already at Daisy Mountain Vet to have his eye removed. Last night, after dinner and his pain meds , he was just adorable sleeping on his back. His eye was very painful this morning and had a huge amount of green drainage and was completely closed. I know Kirsten and her staff will baby him and treat him just like one of their own. Only better days are ahead for you, Uncle Miltie....I promise.... Thanks in advance. These seniors with medical issues frequently have to be passed over by smaller rescues because their medical needs create a financial burden. I often make an effort to get a cute and fuzzy, healthy and readily adoptable dog...but they always end up getting saved by other rescues. Is it my karma? Or this is my pre-determined mission to take care of these sweeties and occasional misfits? (Like Cowboy. .. : -.))))) Will post in a comment later on Milton post-op findings and status... ♡
