Mine Surveyor We have an opportunity for a self motivated and enthusiastic Mine Surveyor to join our underground survey team at our Forrestania Nickel Operation. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for career development within Western Areas. The Opportunity: Working as part of the Underground Technical Team, your primary function will involve: •Responsibility for all survey control required to achieve short to medium term production and development targets •High degree of liaison with Mining Contractors and other Western Areas personnel for technical and EHS support •Ensuring compliance with Western Areas Surveying Standards and the directions of the Senior Mine Surveyor •Act as the relief Senior Mine Surveyor as required You Will Need: •Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Mine Surveying •At least one year mine survey experience, preferably in an underground mine •Demonstrated safe work practices •High degree of self motivation •Experience with survey based computer programs and other business software •The ability to forward plan and prioritise multiple tasks •A high level of professionalism and composure under pressure •Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills Forrestania is a diverse and exciting operation with a great future.
