Mini rant and given that its my Facebook page I can do it!!! I am so tired of people complaining about the amount of water that is wasted with the ALS ice water challenge. Those buckets of water (4 in total) gave me an opportunity to talk to my children about a disease that affects so many people. It gave me a chance to show my children that while we can give money we can also give of ourselves and raise awareness and have fun doing it! Those opportunities are priceless....I am thankful for that and while we as a family did not choose to donate money to African children for fresh water, we did choose to support ALS and who am I or anyone else to say which is more important. To the person just diagnosed with ALS and their family, they are blessed by my decision and thankful. I cant help everyone but we did our part to help someone!!!!!! Xoxo
