Mining: Job Vacancy PT Ocean Metal Indo; 9 positions URGENTLY NEEDED PT Ocean Metal Indo is a national private company with the main business of coal and tin mining in Indonesia, currently needs some dynamic – creative professional human resources, with a good track record, to join and grow with us for below position and Qualifications: 1. TIN SENIOR GEOLOGIST (Job Code: TSG) Qualifications: a. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Geology / Geophysics / Geological Sciences or equivalent b. Minimum 7 years working experience in tin exploration or mine geology is required c. Computer literacy and ability to analyze numerical and graphical data d. Must be familiar with GIS and 3D programs (MapInfo Discover / Surpac), geological mapping and database management Responsibilities: a. Investigating the structure and evolution of the earth and its natural resources b. Surveying and mapping geologically promising sites c. Collecting and recording samples and data from test sites d. Supervising exploration activity and develop drilling programs e. Executing site reconnaissance f. Preparing report g. To perform other tasks as and when required by the Company h. Geological modeling, wire frame / solids construction i. Project generation and geological mapping j. Constructing relevant maps using MapInfo / Surpac 2. FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGER (Job Code: FAM) Qualifications: a. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting b. Ideally, 2 - 4 years experience both in public accountant firm as auditor and manufacturing company as accountant from medium size company c. Minimum 5 years experience as a Finance or Accounting Manager; d. Experiences in a Mining Industry would be a plus e. Good knowledge on Project Due Diligences, Merger and Acquisition would be a plus f. Good understanding about PSAK and IFRS g. Deep knowledge about Tax h. Having knowledge and experience of related computer applications i. Good conceptual and analytical thinking j. Strong leadership, tactful and good interpersonal skill k. Able to work under pressure Responsibilities: a. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline b. Having 5 years experiences in the same role c. Experience in a Senior Business Development role with Project Management skills in similar job scope, e.g. mining (will be a plus value), infrastructure, oil and gas, and construction d. Experience in project financial review and analysis e. Experienced communicator - oral, written, power point preparation and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English f. Experience in specification, planning, interpretation and monitoring / supervising of exploration activities e. Geological due diligence experience is required f. Competency of geological and mining software e.g. Minescape, Minex, Surpac g. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal h. Willing to travel to remote area (Kalimantan Tengah) and move within multiple projects Responsibilities: a. Assisting the Project Manager / Geology Manager to develop strategy to maximize the company project b. Undertaken safe Coal / mineral exploration activities which include : • Plan and prioritise exploration activities and exploration strategy across the company project • Execute exploration programs to planned budgets • Prepare work scope for explorations work • Oversee contractors • Input of data, create and assess geological model c. Manage operational and exploration program d. Assist with preparation of JORC compliant resourse & reserve statement e. Demonstrate strong leadership skills in small team coordinating external contractors and consultants 5. COAL WELLSITE GEOLOGIST (Job Code: CWG) Qualifications: a. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Geological Engineering b. Minimum 5 years experiences as wellsite geologist (have experience in handling data management will be a plus value) c. Able to use several geological software (Autocad, ArcGis, MapInfo) is highly advantageous d. Have good ability in writing report and presentation e. Have good interpersonal, team work, and leadership skill f. Willing to travel to remote area (Kalimantan Tengah) and move within multiple projects Responsibilities: a. Analyzing, evaluating, comparing, and describing formations using cuttings and coring b. Keeping detailed records, writing reports, completing daily, weekly, and post-well reporting logs, and communicating those reports to Senior Geologist c. Understand in the analysis of core samples, drill cuttings and rock samples d. Perform geologic mapping or resource assessment studies to acquire data needed to understand and describe coal resources and their geologic framework 6. COAL MARKETING (Job Code: CM) Qualifications: a. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in commercial, business and/or other equivalent discipline b. Significant working experience in sales and marketing functions in commodity markets / industry c. Experience in the coal markets is highly advantageous d. Computer literate, knowledge of SAP applications preferred Responsibilities: a. Manage and execute the physical Coal Trading b. Negotiate and conclude contracts with suppliers and customers c. Collect and translate market information, indices and knowledge into value generating trading including developing new products / services d. Build and maintain (long term) favorable relationships with suppliers, customers and other key relationships e. Provide all relevant information, including analysis for budget and management reporting purposes 7. COAL QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR (Job Code: QCS) Qualifications: a. Male, maximum of 35 years old b. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related discipline c. Minimum 5 years experiences in coal quality control and minimum 3 years experiences in coal mining d. Good knowledge in coal geology e. Good knowledge in coal sampling technique and procedure (pit and stockpile samples and disturbed or undisturbed samples) f. Good knowledge in coal quality control and quality assurance management g. Good knowledge in stockpile management and mine geology engineering h. Comprehensive knowledge in mining software such as Autocad, Minescape, Xpac, Minex, etc. i. Good leadership with interpersonal and organizational skills j. Willing to be located in Jakarta & Kalimantan Tengah Responsibilities: a. Prepare coal samples to analyze b. Manage routine coal sampling and guidance services for front line people c. Manage and supervise all the procedure needed to prevent parting and other impurities materials in pit based on SOP d. Manage and supervise all the procedure needed in stockpile activities based on stockpile SOP e. Assist mine geologist and all mine operation in pit f. Assist mine mapping and exploration activities if needed g. Monitor production activity to have good quality coal 8. COAL LOGISTIC SUPERVISOR (Job Code: CLS) Qualifications: a. Male, maximum 35 years old b. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mining, Geology Shipping c. Minimum 5 years experiences in coal logistic d. Strong network contacts & relations e. Detersive source information f. Strong computer skills g. Willing to be located in Jakarta & Kalimantan Tengah and travelling to our customer Responsibilities: a. Responsible for all aspects of coal logistic activity including organization and sourcing b. Good knowledge of coal quality and sources c. Develop specific supplier solutions based on strong financing, structuring, logistic and risk mitigation capabilities 9. COAL SITE MANAGER (Job Code: CSM) Qualifications: a. Male is preferable, minimum 37 years old b. Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills c. Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline d. Minimum 10 years experience in the mining operations & 5 years in the same position e. Comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices f. Hold a POU and K3 Umum Certificate g. Strong commitment to site safety h. Having experience in position Kepala Teknik Tambang is an advantages i. Strong leadership is a must j.
